Credit System
Last Updated: April 28, 2025
1. How Credits Work
TranslAItion operates on a credit-based system. Credits are used to pay for translation services. Each translation consumes a specific number of credits based on the length of the text being translated.
2. Credit Pricing
Credit packages can be purchased at different price points. The current pricing is available on the Purchase Credits page. Prices are subject to change, but credits already purchased will not be affected by price changes.
3. Credit Expiration
Credits do not expire as long as your account remains active. If an account is inactive for 12 consecutive months, we reserve the right to expire credits with prior notice.
4. Credit Usage
Credits are deducted at the beginning of the translation process. The exact number of credits required for a translation is based on the character count of the text being translated.
Refund Policy
Last Updated: April 28, 2025
1. Credit Purchase Refunds
Refunds for credit purchases may be considered on a case-by-case basis and are at the sole discretion of TranslAItion. Generally, refunds are only provided if:
- The purchase was made within the last 7 days
- No credits from the purchase have been used
- There was a technical error that resulted in duplicate charges
2. Failed Translation Refunds
If a translation fails due to technical issues on our end, we will automatically refund the credits used for that translation. In case of partial translation completion, a proportional refund will be issued.
3. User Account Termination
If your account is terminated for violations of our Terms of Service or Content Policy, any unused credits may be forfeited without refund.
4. Requesting a Refund
To request a refund, please contact our support team through the Contact page with details of your purchase and the reason for your refund request.
